We are a Christ focused religious organisation formed to partner with Christian communities in developing nations by:-
- Working together to reduce poverty
- Establishing a pool of funds and non monetary resources to assist disadvantaged communities with micro-enterprise, health and education program options
- Facilitating the sale of products made by these communities
Trading Table was formed by a group of friends from a church community in Lismore NSW, after running one other successful project in 2008-9; where approximately 250 hand-woven baskets were imported from Africa and sold in Australia at great benefit to the community that facilitated this in Africa.
It is our intention to create and sponsor many more such projects, and to establish an enterprise that will continue to contribute to the material needs of communities in developing nations.
We are eager to hear from and partner with other communities within Australia who are involved in similar projects. Particularly, we would like to hear stories of the successes (and otherwise 
) of similar ventures. We will provide space on our website to share stories and blog experiences. We will also be offering space in our website shopping cart for those who wish to make products available via this medium. (more specifics on that as they become available).
